A few weeks ago I received an email from a friend Corry Robinson, whom I hadn't seen in over 17 years. I love these types of random email inquiries! He had since turned into a worldwide musician, producer, and speaker for issues on racial reconciliation. He wanted to book a photoshoot in Seattle as he was going to be recording his album in Portland. It was such a nostalgic experience being together and talking about life and school and all that has changed in our lives. I felt like a tourist in my own city, driving around the city and chasing the best light. Corry, thank you for reminding me of the goodness of surprise.
